On Sunday, May 25th, the KEYS team took part in “La città da giocare – Diritti al gioco”, a vibrant community event held in Fano and hosted by the welcoming Club Nautico Fanese.
The initiative transformed the city into an open space for creative exploration, movement, and fun, with a strong focus on the rights of children and young people to play, express themselves, and be active. It was the perfect environment to showcase the values at the heart of the KEYS Erasmus+ project.
A Day of Sport and Discovery
Throughout the day, children and teenagers had the chance to try out sport-based games, take part in rowing machine challenges, and learn about the importance of staying active — all while having fun in a safe, inclusive space.
The KEYS team was there to:
- Promote sport as a tool for education and inclusion
- Engage youth through hands-on activities
- Share the project’s mission of empowering young people through physical activity and lifelong wellbeing
The response from families, educators, and participants was overwhelmingly positive. Over the course of the event, dozens of young people interacted with our team, discovered new skills, and experienced the joy of moving together.
🗣️ “Sport is a language everyone understands. Events like this show how powerful it can be to bring people together and inspire the next generation.” – KEYS project team member
Empowering Youth Through Sport
At KEYS, we believe that access to sport is a right, not a privilege, and that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive — physically, mentally, and socially. That’s why we’re proud to contribute to initiatives like La città da giocare, which align perfectly with our goals.
We’re grateful to Club Nautico Fanese for hosting us and to the local community for their energy, participation, and enthusiasm.
Stay tuned for more KEYS activities across Europe — and join us in building a stronger future through sport. 🏃♀️🌍⚽️
