The KEYS Camp 2025 has officially come to an end, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable memories, personal growth, and strong international bonds. Young rowers from Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy came together for a week filled with sport, nature, and shared challenges.
What is KEYS Camp?
The KEYS Camp is an international training experience that brings together rowing clubs, coaches, and young athletes for a journey of personal and athletic development.
Through water training, outdoor adventures, and social bonding, participants experience a week of sport and cultural exchange in a safe, inclusive and motivating environment.
Participating Clubs in 2025:
- VK Arupinum Rovinj (CRO)
- VK Piran (SLO)
- Club Nautico Fanese (ITA)
- Canottieri Montefeltro (ITA)

DAY 1 – Welcome & First Strokes
The camp opened with team-building activities and the first training sessions. For many, it was their first time rowing with athletes from different countries — and the excitement was immediate.
Sara (VK Arupinum Rovinj, CRO):
“At first I was a bit nervous, but as soon as we started rowing together, I felt like part of the group. Everyone is super friendly!”
Leon (VK Piran, SLO):
“I really enjoyed getting to know people from other clubs. We had our first training and it was already so much fun!”
Fabio (Club Nautico Fanese, ITA):
“I like coastal rowing because I like row on waves.”

DAY 2 – Nature & Adrenaline
The second day took the group on a kayaking trip to the Furlo Gorge and a high ropes adventure park, combining nature, courage, and teamwork.
Anita (Canottieri Montefeltro, ITA):
“On the second day we went to Furlo by canoe and we went in the adventure park – but it was very scary :)”
Juraj (VK Arupinum Rovinj, CRO):
“My favorite part was the kayaking because it was fun and we went on a beautiful river and saw beautiful sites.”
Elly (VK Piran, SLO):
“I really loved the adventure park because it was really high and it was great and fun.”

DAY 3 – Orienteering, Sailing & SUP
The third and final day brought even more variety: a morning orienteering competition through the town of Fano, followed by sailing and stand-up paddleboarding on the Adriatic coast.
Marko (VK Arupinum Rovinj, CRO):
“The third day was sailing and spending time in the water on the SUP.”
Tinkara (VK Piran, SLO):
“The whole third day was very exciting because in the morning we went orienteering in Fano and later we went to the beach where my favourite part was sailing.”
Annalisa (Canottieri Montefeltro, ITA):
“My favorite part on third day was orienteering in Fano, because I won. It was a fun day!”
Looking Back
A week full of movement, laughter, courage, and connection — across languages, borders, and clubs.
The KEYS Camp 2025 showed that sport is more than training: it’s community, discovery, and growth.
🙏 A big thank you to all participants, coaches, and organizers who made this experience possible.
See you at the next edition!
